Small C Painting

I started this painting a year or so ago, it looked completely different then, but the thing that drove it was the small C. My way of painting is to just keep working until something catches my attention, then that little thing dictates how things continue. In creating this piece, I delved into the tranquility and complexity of abstraction, using oil and wax to produce depth and texture. The harmonious blend of earthy greens and stark contrasting patches reflects life’s unpredictable intersections and barriers.
