Abstract landscape made with oil painting on paper. Paper size is A5 standard. Inspired by nature, I combined raspberries ink I personally collected with high quality Sennelier Oil paintings. The result is a set of small pieces created during my vacation at the family's country side location in the mountains. These small artworks are ideal if you get more than one, so that you can combine them as a nice composition on the wall.

Cristina Castañeda (1977) is a self taught artist from Barcelona (Spain). She started painting and creating as a child, becoming her favorite games and entertainment. Specially during holidays in the family's country's side house, she would spend hours playing with charcoals, acrylics and building little monsters with the raw clay grabbed directly from the mountains. Maybe that's the main reason why she still loves playing with materials and creating textures on her paintings. On her most recent works, she focuses on combining the gestural language of improvisational expressionism with reductive abstraction.
