This piece is inspired by Edward Hopper. It depicts a couple sitting in a lonely restaurant with a great ocean view, but neither of them seem to be interested. The woman looks away from the man and the view, creating a tension. The tension is amplified by the use of complementary colors. It is a typical inside-outside view Hopper liked to use.
