I was able to obtain some amazing Khadi paper this summer, this paper is so strong and thick you can stand it up like a piece of cardboard! Its absolutely beautiful, each piece hand made so amazingly characterfull irregularities on the edges, not two pieces of paper are the same ...so unique and its 100% cotton rag ( no cutting down of trees). The artwork is a combination of folk tale and my childhood memories about the time when I was living up north (England) in a sports pavilion where my Father was head groundsman. This work is sold unframed, I do recommend museum glass as usual for the best framing solution.

Originally from Newcastle upon Tyne, Carol works from her cottage in the North Pennines in the UK. She produces both abstract and representational work, generally her paintings have an underlying sense of mystery and a mystical relationship with nature. They are often intuitive and soulful. Carol says: “After painting professionally for 33 years I still find it an extremely exciting and magical process. I try to get beyond ‘expressing’ myself, to allow a creative energy straight from nature and the cosmos. Happy and joyful, concentrating on uplifting the viewer and bringing a sense of joyful energy to everyday life.” PRIVATE COLLECTIONS: Uk, USA, Australia, France, Italy, Dubai and Israel.
