ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting was inspired by the dramatic changes that were occurring in my life following illness and great change. What’s interesting about this piece is that I painted it outside flat. My daughter wanted to bring it inside and she didn’t realize it wasn’t dry. The next day the paint had dropped. She was so upset, but I loved the look and told her it was our first collaboration!It was a very emotional time for me and the bold colors did help to express my passion and feelings at the time.
