I’m Moritz Danner, a Berlin-based artist whose work captures the emotional absurdity of hedonism and modern identity. As the founder of the iconic fashion label NAKT, I spent a decade deep in Berlin’s subculture. A world of raves, sex parties, fashion, and freedom. Those years shaped how I see people, desire, and contradiction. Today, I transform that experience into art. My paintings are loud, direct, and full of emotional tension. Using a naïve, childlike visual language, I portray characters pulled from the edge of reason, caught between ecstatic highs and quiet collapses. I paint the contradictions we live in. The masks we wear. And the strange beauty of staying wild.
