BARBARA KUDZIA - my works combine abstraction and figuration, and are distinguished by an experimental approach to painting technique. I draw inspiration from the subconscious and dreams, creating surreal compositions in which chaotic elements are arranged into coherent wholes creating the effect of pareidolia - seeing familiar shapes in random forms. I am interested in unusual mental states and hallucinations in the context of colors. I follow my intuition in the creative process, painting scenery familiar to me from intense emotional memories.
