ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In my artworks, I draw inspiration from Nietzsche's concept of the Overman and strive to reflect this philosophical idea by combining it with the innocence of childhood. Merve Yüksel Çeltek was born in Izmir in 1994. He completed his art education at Dokuz Eylül Faculty of Fine Arts. Since the Renaissance period, painting has been completing itself in the figure, seeing painting as an act of life and creating portraits that do not want to stand upright and static against time. Each portrait stands out as the expression of a body and life story. Çeltek's art is enriched with his colors, which derive their individuality from every experience and everything he experiences.
