This painting is part of my collection called “Squareism and Travels” - a collection where I reinterpret landmarks, sites, and nature from the most meaningful places I have visited. I use visible brush strokes and bright colors in my acrylic paintings. I explore different line and color combinations to create unlikely atmospheres for my subject matters. My paintings are often metaphors for my personality, experiences, and views. My indoor studio consists of pictures I’ve taken throughout my travels and weekend adventures. I then recreate these images with vivacious colors and movement. When the long-awaited warm months return, I create my makeshift studio outdoors anywhere I feel inspired. You may see me up close with a tropical plant, studying a flower in full bloom, or even examining a fallen tree which has exposed its roots. In my collection you’ll find a mix of flowers, plants, and buildings. I believe that most things worth your time won’t come easy. After my last career change in the corporate world, I chose to return to my first love and forge my own path. I am using the knowledge I have gained from previous art classes to live my life as an artist in New Jersey.
