From his new series "Traslaciones", more than breaking rules in painting with the perforation in the canvas, there is an attempt rather to express the violence of the 'leap of worlds' of our time, or more currently significant, in what until recently That strange in the environment has taken us by surprise. This system of piercing a fragment of the painted canvas results in a great plastic resource for the purposes that the artist proposes in this series. The separation of a portion, of a symbol, of a well-chosen element becomes the protagonist of the painting, which is organized as a space divided into two canvas panels, the first being the one at the beginning, a common symbolic narrative (still life, flowers, portrait, it could be anything), to later narrate in the second panel the consequence of that separation and consider a 'translation' to be completed.
