Vitia cordis - heart defects. The painting speaks of hardness of our heart. Love - dance - looses its meaning and corporeality gets in the forefront - symbol of decay. On a broken bow a madman is holding a bird who can not fly away - wings like parchments symbolise interdiction of free thought. In the caldron a rich man is enjoying and a poor man stays outside of wealth and sharing. A fool symbolises arrogance of science. The walls are speaking of our captivity.
