This work was a continuation of the Indigo series only in smaller sizes. The works starts with raw shapes. all made in nature. This series is painted at the beach. As a memory you will find some of the North Sea's sand, under the blue paint. The Boro technic is inspired by the original Japanese art form. It is meant to bring depth and direction to the piece by changing the composition of the work by the proposal of the thread. The thread is pure cotton bought at Amsterdams textile market every Monday morning. Unstretched as you can see in the extra pictures , the work is 56 1/5 x 56cm

Art is my prayer. I try to bridge all my experiences into something beautiful, heal any hurt with the magical touch of paint, an eventual mirror, cloth or mosaic. Unlike my fast paced multitask nature, the moment I sit down to paint I enter another realm there where I can reflect and be still. My greatest inspirations and influences are nature and the magnificence of cultures from around the world. In awe of these wonders it is my wish to pause for a moment, express this beauty, whilst giving thanks. Note: Please take in account that nearly all works presented are unstretched. This is due to weight/shipping and storage. Please ask if you have questions concerning the space surrounding the composition. Email:
