Assemblage/Wooden elements were ordered by me at my favourite turnery, they are covered with three layers of gesso and two layers of black acrylic paint (th.3mm).

The title of this painting is inspired by a famous movie quote from "Taxi Driver"directed by M.Scorsese where Travis Bickle (R.De Niro)
looks himself in the mirror and imagines what he would say if he was confronted by a bad guy.

"You talkin' to me?You talkin' to me?You talkin' to me?Then who the hell else are you talkin' to?You talkin' to me?Well I'm the only one here.Who the f...k do you think you're talking to?"

The title "Fluffy Display of Power" has reference to Pantera's studio album from 1992 "Vulgar Display of Power".This title was taken from a line in the 1973 film "The Exorcist":"that's much too vulgar a display of power".

Małgorzata Wartołowicz / Margot Sophie " The work of Małgorzata Wartołowicz is authentic, individual and shaped expression, full of privacy and brilliant ideas. The paintings created from the beginning of '90s testify to a large amount of creativity that their author undoubtedly possesses." For me, painting is a reflection of emotions, sensations, feelings and the artist's personality.Creating an image is a very personal experience the result of which you want to share with others. Everything that surrounds me,the environment, nature, travels, social issues, ongoing transformations taking place in our contemporary world, has an impact on my work. I use different painting techniques and I don't limit my work to one style
