Reda Abdel Salam Born in Suez in 1947 He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Cairo. Department of Photography in 1977. Currently a full-time professor. He has written many articles and critical studies concerned with Egyptian art and visual artists. Among them are ten books, printed in different publishing houses. . He worked as a newspaper artist for thirty years, from 1977 in Al-Ahram newspaper and Al-Musawar magazine until 1902 AD. He participated in many local and international exhibitions in Egypt and in Arab and foreign countries. From 1976 AD until 1902 AD. Among them were Cuba, Switzerland, Turkey, France, London, Italy, Argentina, Brazil, Azerbaijan, India, Iraq, Lebanon, Kuwait... He supervised and discussed many scientific theses, about 541 master’s and doctoral theses, in addition to scientific production related to career advancement. He worked as a member of the Fine Arts Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture for 21 years...and the State Awards Committees (encouragement, excellence, and appreciation). He has various creative experiences in the field of photography, sculptural formations, installation, drawing, digital photography, and the artist’s book... characterized by diversity, experimentation, privacy, and creative thought... which makes him one of the most prominent contemporary Egyptian visual artists.. He signed from 1976-1990 with Reda Abdel Salam... and from 1991 until now with... Reda... Art means to him life, freedom and creative beauty in its most creative forms with all their contradictions.
