Gold Rush - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

This image gives new meaning to the term “golden hour.” The vibrant yellow of the setting sun casts a stunning hue across this entire scene. In the upper left corner, you can catch a glimpse at the remainder of that day’s hot, summer sun. The reflection of the sunset is cast along the water’s surface, and fades to a fiery orange. It is at that point that we meet the large, cresting wave where our hero, in his red shorts, braves the roaring wave. As the eye gazes back up the diagonal of the swell, it finds the ocean peppered with stray surfers that decided not to take this ride. Finally, in the lower right corner are subtle flares of light, creating a balanced composition to the intensity of the opposite corner. This image was shot in Manhattan Beach, CA on a beautiful summer evening in August of 2021. Hang it on your wall as a reminder that life can always deliver you a magical moment when everything lines up just right! This is a 28" x 37" image on 30”x40” paper, sold unframed. The paper is Hahnemühle Photo Rag, and is made from 100% cotton. This is archival, museum quality paper with a smooth surface that is completely matte (zero shine). The bright white cotton allows for the colors to be at their truest, and the shadows at their fullest, which creates a wonderful contrast that will stand out on your wall! This image is offered as a limited edition of 8. Each piece is hand signed and numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity. All images are processed at a fine art photo lab in Los Angeles. When you order a fine art photography print from me, it will be carefully packaged so that the print remains in pristine condition. It is recommended that you do not handle the print yourself, but rather take it directly to the framer and allow them to handle the piece with the care that is needed for a fine art photograph.
