About The Artwork
This is printed on a professional quality photo paper (can be also printed on canvas) and was created with acrylic paint and water. I capture digital photos with minimal digital enhancement to show enrichment of color and detail. I was inspired to render the paint with water to watch the chaotic reaction. I want the viewer to see the same interaction as I see that has occurred during this point in time and space. *All photos are taken using a dslr, an 18-55mm lens camera and simple camera techniques. • I officially sign all work • A certificate of authenticity will be given and prints will be numbered *Prints may done in sizes 8x10 to 45x56 ask me for specific pricing * only 100 copies max will be sold and the numbered printed copy will be stated on COA

Former K-12 Visual Fine Arts Educator Mixed-Media artist Community Volunteer & Activist I'm a lifetime artist-educator producing artworks using traditional art techniques, self-expression, and new artistic discovery. I draw inspiration from patterns of nature, portraits, animals, and the environment around me. Some of my artistic influence comes from Augusta Savage, Kara Walker, Pablo Picasso and Janet Sobel to name a few. Currently, I'm creating abstract photography with a technique I call "splashart" using acrylic pour paintings. SplashArt is a technique where water and paint splash together. Simultaneously, I capture still images of the paint and water transitioning and morphing to create abstract photography paintings. The paper or canvas is ready when dry or photography prints are produced. When necessary, digital enhancement is used to enhance the quality of images.
