ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Fine Art Paper. . . Description. The belief system has been one of my main points of inquiry. I don’t take a step without asking questions. Questioning my health helped me find the connection between sciatica pain and my emotions. I questioned traditional medicine after a neurologist who never looked me in the eye during our consultation made me feel like just another name on his list of "People to Operate On." "Amniotic" is a series that explores the sciatica pain I experienced, tied to a conflict in the womb. The traditional medicine we know only addresses illness from a physical standpoint, within a society with a broken heart and filled with scars, many of which are stored unconsciously.
Rebirthing therapy was my lifeline. While my skin had become hypersensitive and the pain was constant, I started my therapy by breathing underwater in a pool, as if I were in the womb.
It was time to release this conflict. My skin had become an alarm, screaming: Heal. The two women represent Mother and Daughter. . . .

My work delves into the mental and emotional factors that impact society. It all stems from personal experience. My lens confronts the invisible world of emotions through my own journey, connecting with millions who have lived or are living the same. I question a society that limits the free development of the individual. Love is always part of my narrative; I enjoy evoking femininity. I manifest dramatic tension through the calm it generates; though it may sound contradictory, this is how I choose to live the chaos within me. My definition of art speaks of spirituality, the mind, and healing. I incorporate elements of nature, the language of the unknown, geometry, and color, with color being the most important therapeutic element in my work. I am a photographer and a Radiesthesia practitioner. My inspiration in this creative phase comes from the Swiss healer and artist Emma Kunz (1892), who used her healing gifts to create art and heal through it. A society can heal its wounds through individual healing, and this is where it transforms into therapy. In my artistic practice, I primarily use digital photography and Radiesthesia, radiating transformative energies onto the image. To achieve this, I utilize healing pendulums, gem therapy, and color therapy. Healing and art as one, telling my stories.
