Showed at the The Other Art Fair
A composition inspired by the ancient Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. The diptych represents this exact moment that Orpheus turns to look at Eurydice, while the city above is waiting for them. One figure is slightly turned, whereas the other is represented on the profile. The two are forever linked through the blue ribbon that continues from one painting to the other, representing the invisible things that unit and separate us. Even if the two paintings work together as a diptych, each one is conceived as an autonomous balanced composition.
