‘Reflections' has been released as a limited edition 1 - 25. It's a reproduction of my original acrylic painting on aluminium that won the People's Choice Award in the Bluethumb Art Prize 2020. Here's what I wrote about the painting: "Reflections is an artwork in a series that I’ve been painting concerning beauty in our every day urban environment. The pavement level perspective captures the reflected light of nearby buildings on a wet man hole cover. I’ve painted a bokeh effect in the background of this cityscape artwork, the term comes from the Japanese word boke which means ‘blur’ or ‘haze’. Appropriately this painting is based on a Tokyo street scene. Although the bokeh effect is primarily a photographic technique I’ve replicated it here to accentuate the distorting and abstracting effect it has on the sources of light." This exclusive museum quality pigment ink print on archival 310gsm Hahnemuhle cotton paper is signed and numbered by the artist. The artwork is professional reproduced by Image Science, Melbourne. The print has the dimensions including white border of 50cm x 50cm, the image dimensions are 40cm x 40cm. Note: this print is UNFRAMED. Art print available at The Other Art Fair, Sydney 2023.
