Curious George is the protagonist of a series of popular children's books from the 30's.
Originally named "Fifi" in the story, he gets taken to the big city ..... and as we all know, what happens in the city, stays in the city.
This sculpture is a little nod to the wonderfully colourful world we live in.
Hand sculpted in stoneware clay, this original piece is glazed with an iron spangle oxide, that subtly glitters and is offset with large brown glass eyes, a tiara and bow tie of course!
