About The Artwork
This creation was made in memory of the Holocaust. The white marble is cut in the shape of a isosceles triangle which from above gives the half of the Star of David. This half - with it's pure color - represents God's chosen people. The other half is missing, but the black, triangle shaped incision suggests it clearly. The incisions' dark color and placement symbolizes barbed wire which held captive so many people and left its' dark and deep mark on humanity's history.
