THE TIME, THE IMAGINATION & THE TRUTH, original small sculpture | fired clay Natural materials: white & red clay. Dimensions: 12,5 (width) x 13,5 (depth) x 26 cm (height) / 4.9 x 5.3 x 10.2 in. /// Sculpture can be used to softly illuminate the area with a tea candle and to burn essential oils with water (aroma theraphy). Sculpture is signed (on the figure on the front - The Imagination). About | I remember when I made my first similar small sculpture and with it unintentionally opened a secret passage to the never-ending source of imagination that has been hiding 'inside of me'. The 'three figures' from the sculpture represent the three important (philosophical) concepts that we encounter many times in our life. Because they are delivered to us in an abstract form, my way of expression in art is to imagine and to think in a way like our ancient ancestors did. Could 'they' have any kind of 'form'? How will they look? What will happen if the Time, the Imagination and the Truth will meet? The Three Time is silently standing behind, on the right is thinking the Truth: Will Imagination (sitting on the front) ever know if your love is pure? * * * Because I created this motif with an intention to make a really good influence on someone's living space, I gave it a function of a tea light candle and essential oil burner. You can use it for both or just to softly illuminate your room at night.

Andrej Mratinković was born in 1984 in a town Celje in Slovenia. He graduated at the Department of Fine Arts at University of Maribor in 2011. When he decided to study fine art, he quickly came to realize that his work will also be to deeply analyze all the components that will give him an artwork that he truly strive for; and for that he would need a lot of exploration, experimentation and experience. A turning point in his artistic development was the discovery of artworks by sculptor Mirsad Begić, who inspired him with his incredible work, personal mythology and introduced him to natural materials, especially "coffee". Mratinković's main fields of creativity are drawing, painting, small sculptures, digital art and graphic design. His art work is often linked with concepts like: imagination, primacy, archaism, mysteriousness, mysticism and poetics. /// Contact:
