Daniel Hester

Daniel Hester is a realism pencil artist working primarily with figurative and portrait subjects, looking to create pieces that preserve and highlight endangered cultures and explore the ideas around them. Based in Lancashire, Daniel studied at the University of Central Lancashire, graduated in 2016, afterwards taking some time off his craft before restarting his artist career in 2023. Daniel has shown pieces throughout many galleries in the north west of England, including Gallery North West in Cumbria as well as with the Manchester based Comme CA Art. He has also shown in galleries in Derbyshire, North Yorkshire and Lancashire. In 2024 Daniel won the highly commended award in the Clitheroe Contemporary, based in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.
