Wolf has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maine at Machias with a double major in English and Interdisciplinary Arts and concentrations in Literature and Book Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. He was the studio manager for Book Arts and Printmaking Workshop throughout his undergraduate studies and continued after graduation by returning to act as a Teaching Assistant. He has also spent time acting as Studio Manager for the Haystack Mountain School of Craft. Since 2013 his work as a photographer and multimedia installation artist has been featured in seven solo exhibitions in galleries in Chicago, Connecticut, Maine, and Vermont. His work has also appeared in numerous group showings including SmackMellons Respond. His photographs appear on nine album covers for artists from the United States, United Kingdom, France and Germany and are featured in a music video. His works are in numerous collections both public and private. Wolf is a community engaged artist who believes in grass roots connections and accessible arts education. He is a founding member of the International Family of Artists Supporting Artists, a Member of the Mephremagog Artists Collective, and volunteers with other arts organizations as his schedule allows.
