Giorgios Papaevangeliou

A liminal space where a potential sublimation of art and architecture is hypothesized is constantly sought. The challenge is to reduce the architecture's degree, to dematerialize it until it reaches a level that is no longer immediately useful and usable for the needs from which it was initially born. From these assumptions my research proceeds by staging alternating dissolves between two-dimensional and three-dimensional, between perceptive and abstract, between the physical world and the internal world.
