Theoretically rooted in cultural materialism, her practice encompasses community engagement, cultural preservation and advocacy with a focus on environmental issues, nature conservation and biodiversity. Her passions are empowerment through the creative arts and building inclusive communities. Hui Ling is a Japan Foundation Fellow and Singapore International Foundation Arts For Good Fellow.
