Vera Matias (1994) was born in Porto (Portugal) where she lives and works.
Her main interests are artistic practices and research around tradition and the queer scene.
In painting she is currently on an ongoing visual experience where she's signing with her alter ego Santa-Lúcia.
She is currently collaborating with the project House of Groove Ball, a platform for queer artistic residences in Porto. Together with Inês Pando and Miguel Prata she has funded and currently integrates S/ Título (2018) collective where she explores her artistic interests through several media such as painting, collage, photography or performance.
