Igor Eliseev

Igor Eliseev is a professional artist. During his creative career, the author has held more than twenty solo exhibitions and took part in international art fairs. The study of art and culture of the Middle East had a huge influence on the author's work.

The artist has completed several conceptual collections consisting of paintings and video installations and was engaged in international art fairs and doing solo exhibitions in different art galleries.

Working with oil on canvas, the author is inspired by diverse stimuli, including Turkish carpets and Arabian stories. Symbols and images that undergo artistic transformation in paintings create a special mystical atmosphere. Exquisite patterns of oriental carpets are intertwined with mysterious mirages, the domes of mosques turn into vaults of heaven with birds soaring in the azure sky. Mysterious and radiant, figurative works border on the surreal, and are abundant with geometric patterns and motifs from ancient Arabic art.
