Natalia Beccher

I was born and raised in the Soviet Union. It was hard to avoid being influenced by ideology but it affected me in a way opposite as intended. I don’t accept ideology in Art but appreciate beauty and meaning.
After graduating from Art School and working in the fashion industry, Art and Art history has never ceased to be my greatest interest, even when my creativity had been made formulaic and standardized, life and all its complexity has never driven me away from it.
Since 2013 I have been living in England. I have decided it is time for me to devote my life to painting. There is enough darkness outside our doors; I want to bring light, realism and tenderness to my paintings. Follow me on my quest for beauty and harmony.
