The Rabbit Series explores the recurring figure of a stylized rabbit through color, geometry, light, reflection, and the visual language of contemporary objects. Originally developed as a character in my work, the rabbit gradually became a central element in an ongoing investigation of form and perception. Its simplified silhouette and polished surfaces create a contrast between familiarity and strangeness, while each painting explores relationships between the figure, surrounding objects, and space. Drawing from contemporary visual culture and the traditions of still life and object painting, the series examines how a simple form can acquire different meanings through composition, materiality, color, and context. The rabbit becomes a constant presence through which I explore the tension between the recognizable and the unexpected, the playful and the contemplative.
