Larisa Kravets is a traditional artist based in Lisbon, working primarily with ink, watercolor, and mixed media on paper. With a background in academic drawing and graphic design, she has gradually moved beyond classical approaches to develop a symbolic visual language rooted in imagination and emotion.
Her work explores themes of identity, transformation, mythology, solitude, and the relationship between humanity and nature. Through symbolic figures, animals, and dreamlike landscapes, she creates images that invite reflection rather than offer fixed answers.
Each piece begins with intuition rather than a predetermined narrative, allowing viewers to discover their own meanings and emotional connections. While she continues to experiment with materials and techniques, her practice remains centered on storytelling through symbolic imagery and expressive monochrome compositions.
Larisa Kravets received formal training in fine art from 1998 to 2005. She attended Art School before continuing her studies at the Nicholas Roerich St. Petersburg Art School, where she specialized in Graphic Design while developing a strong foundation in academic drawing and composition.
