Victor Prey

My name is Victor Prey I'm a 26 year old Swedish artist. For more than ten years I have painted, developed different techniques and refined my personal unique style. My work can be reflected in a variety of materials. I have good knowledge about products/objects and manufacturing/exhibition. My style is contemporary and timeless with a sense of humor. Colorful soft pastel hits the sharp and precise lines of ink. The Danish artist Theis Eljas enabled me for five years to work and learn in his studio. Long hours painting mixed with materials science and exhibition work. Three years of high school studying art and social science made experimental work possible. I was eager to try all kinds of materials and learned a lot about product development and manufacturing. Clay, linoleum print, screen printing, paper work, charcoal, graphite. Painting in oil, acrylic and soft pastel. Sculpting plaster, wood, metal and concrete to mention some of the things I'm familiar with. I have studiet crafts, art and design at Linköpings University Sweden. My paintings are created by my own imagination with influences from every day life and inspiration from both nature's organic shapes and a close eye for modern design and architecture.
