Daisy Emerson

I am a UK based artist and my work is influenced by a deep connection to nature. I’m especially drawn to the colourful beauty of florals, returning to them as a way of exploring their meanings and detail.

I find calm in the slow, detailed process of painting natural forms, studying each curve and shift in colour until the piece feels almost alive. Beneath these botanical elements, I layer soft, expressive lettering, a thread carried through from my background in typography, to add a sense of movement and the emotion that sits just beneath the surface.

Working primarily in oils, my paintings blend botanical detail with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. I create original pieces on canvas, wood and paper from my studio in the UK. My work is designed to bring stillness, beauty and a sense of connection into thoughtful interiors.
