Evgeny Stulov

Eugene Stulov is a Bratislava-based contemporary photographer working at the intersection of fashion and fine art. His practice centers on the female figure as both sculptural form and psychological presence, developed through a controlled and deliberate visual language. Drawing on his academic background in art history, Stulov references classical traditions while translating them into a distinctly contemporary aesthetic defined by precision, restraint and a refined use of light.

His compositions balance sensuality with formal clarity, creating images that function as autonomous art objects rather than decorative photography. Released in limited editions, his works emphasize collectibility and long-term artistic value.

In 2024, Stulov presented a solo exhibition, Kaleidoscope, at the Central European House of Photography in Bratislava. His photography has been recognized internationally, including distinction at the Sony World Photography Awards (Art & Culture, 2014). He received “Best in Context” in the Fashion with Water category at the 35mm Awards (2015) and was a finalist in Art Photography at the 35mm Awards (2016).
