Known artistically as Gabriel F, he is an Ecuadorian visual artist and musician whose work explores emotion, excess, and imperfection as a means of expression. With a vibrant and intuitive approach, he fuses mixed media to create compositions that appeal to both the sensorial and the symbolic. His practice is strongly influenced by movements such as expressionism, pop art, and conceptual art.

My intention as an artist is for the viewer to discover the details that exist beyond the surface: for the imperfect to reveal beauty, for each brushstroke to have a soul. I want my work to be felt before being understood. I want the details to speak for themselves, even when they seem hidden.

My influences range from the great masters like Diego Velázquez, Cézanne, Monet, and Dalí, to the energetic gestures of Pollock and the symbolic depth of Georgia O'Keeffe. I am inspired by movements such as Cubism, Surrealism, Expressionism, Pop Art, Art Deco, Fauvism, Minimalism, Conceptual Art, and the Bauhaus, which help me construct a hybrid language between the rational and the emotional.

My education is entirely self-taught, built upon a constant exploration of visual languages and their fusion with contemporary design.
Originally trained as a graphic designer, my creative development has organically expanded into the visual arts, experimenting with techniques, styles, and compositions that reflect a deeply personal and sensory vision of art.

My works move fluidly between abstraction, pop art, Ben-Day, Fauvism, abstract expressionism, and contemporary minimalism, generating a unique visual universe where color, form, and emotion converse in perfect balance.

This stylistic diversity is the result of an introspective process of learning, intuition, and constant practice, where each creation is both an aesthetic quest and an affirmation of creative freedom.
