Maria Papanastasiou

Maria Papanastasiou (b.Athens), is a Visual Artist working with multi-media techniques, including: print media, photography, video, installation. She moved to London and received an MA in Fine Arts from the University for the Creative Arts, Kent in 2008. Her work has been shown in major galleries and museums in Athens and Mykonos; UK and Malta. Works included in many private collections in Greece and in New York. Alongside her practice as an independent artist she has been teaching Fine Art, History of Art and Painting in secondary education in Greece and London. The last few years she tutors private art classes in London where she leaves with her family. In parallel, she is working on her PhD research.
