Chilenean artist based in Madrid, Spain
As a photographer my work is developed through alternative photography and new media.
I approach my photographic practice through diverse experimentations applied to the image, from the use of different printing methods on supports, as well as encounters with other media.
This experimental exploration seeks to deconstruct the aesthetic formality from an approach to the objectual character of photography to address issues related to the symbolic value of native peoples using the intervention of archives and photographic printing on sculpture, migratory processes, the extraction of natural resources through photographic interventions and multiple existentialisms referring to reality through infrared photography, AR and installations.
I began my training at the Escuela Argentina de Fotografía, Buenos Aires, Argentina and then I finished the Latin American Master of Contemporary Photography at the Centro de la Imagen, Lima, Peru.
