Soyoung James

Soyoung is a Los Angeles based Artist and Illustrator. She has been following her passion in art for about 30 years. After majoring in Art, Media Design & Animation at the prestigious Hong-ik University in South Korea, she has worked with major studios such as Fox TV animation, Warner Bros, NBC universal, and is now a full time artist and mother.

With a unique artistic voice, her works are whimsical and colorful. Primarily produced using acrylic, they exude an indulgence of organic warmth and elegance. Her work is focused on abstract and portrait.

"Most recent collections are dedicated to my husband and daughter who inspire my art journey. It is a variety of different feelings and sights I found throughout my years in Southern California. I hope you find them enjoyable because they certainly were for me."

She has received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Design, Animation from the prestigious Hong-ik University, South Korea.
