Horizons

Horizons is a collection about space, distance and the lines where land meets sky. It brings together landscapes and panoramic photographs made across the world, from desert dunes in North Africa to Iceland, Peru and Southeast Asia. I am drawn to landscapes that feel almost abstract: the curve of a dune shaped by the wind, layers of ridges fading into haze, a single line of horizon dividing color and light. Many of these images are made at the edges of the day, when low light reveals texture and shadows give form to the land. The panoramic works in this series are designed to be lived with on a wall, offering a wide, calm field of view that invites the eye to travel slowly from one side to the other. Horizons is an invitation to pause, breathe and look further, to rediscover the quiet scale of the natural world.
