Rebecca Mills

I am a 22 year old contemporary artist living in Dublin, Ireland. I am currently in my final year studying BaHons Visual Art Practice in Dun Laoghaire while also working as a tattoo artist at Hydraulix Studios, Grafton Street, Dublin.

My work explores our ability to perceive, understand and breakdown an image through the process of inclusion and exclusion, and how an image functions after these changes. I aim at heightening details within an image and changing its context. Line is a large tool throughout my work and Drawing is a heavy influence in the origin of the pieces. Influential readings include those by Andre Bazin, Jean Baudrillard and Vitamin D.

Currently studying BA Hons Visual Art Practice.
