Sarah Goodchild

I am a final year BA Fine Art student at the Cambridge School of Art based at ARU. My works deals mainly with perception, our perception of ourselves and of others. The primary emphasis in recent work has been on the issue of the media and the \'body ideal\' concentrating on how women are depicted and the effects of ultra thin media body ideals can have on the female psyche. Most of the female forms portrayed in my work are definately and proudly curvacious! There is a beauty and sensousness in the natural curves of the womanly form and our appreciation of them harks back to prehistory. Lets celebrate that abundance of fleshy beauty!
