For me, the time I spent in Jeju Island when I was child remains a precious and happy memory. And the sea, palm trees, sunlight... I was always with the nature of Jeju Island.

But now that I'm an adult, I'm living in a cold reality. Those pure and warm days of childhood always remain in my mind as nostalgia and utopia that will never come back.

I continue making artwork about the nostalgia as utopia. I hope my artworks allow us to stay in the world of utopia for a while, recalling our precious and pure memories.
