Paulo Flatau is a Brazilian Contemporary Artist, living and working in Miami, FL - USA. His style is largely about color mixture, non-stop movement, and the strong way he spreads the painting all around the canvas. Paulo Flatau demonstrated passion, creativity and a great interest in arts and painting at early age. Nowadays, many of his paintings are inspired by Gerhard Richter Techniques. The foundation of his inspiration comes from a personal universe, always packed by thousands of colors from the Brazilian culture, using mixed techniques such as graffiti, pens, silk screen, crayons, scrap, oils, and acrylics. Currently, Paulo Flatau is developing his own painting technique using cylinders. True works of chance ruled by laws of nature. Completely abstract canvases. Often leads a viewer's attention to the pure pigment's dense, material nature, thereby demonstrating both its expressive strengths and shortcomings. The Flatau painting's many layers, of color may thus appear as a blend of chemical and physical effects that translates into colors and shapes that still make you remember The Fibonacci sequence, as anything found in nature, expanding symmetry or evolving symmetry as well as by way of unpredictable occasions. Besides fine arts, Paulo has also worked extensively with Advertising, Graphic Design and Digital Illustration in 2D and 3D.
