Paylos Stollas

Pavlos Stollas was born in Patras, Greece, in 1973. With an innate artistic sensibility from an early age, painting became a natural means of expression, guiding his hand and shaping his creative path.
In 1996, he graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at the Athens Technological Educational Institute (TEI), School of Graphic Arts. Alongside his professional career as a graphic designer, he began refining his painting skills, initially working with oil and acrylic.

From 2005 to 2010, he collaborated with the Ethnikos Kirikas Patras newspaper as a graphic designer and cartoonist. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Asterix and Obelix, he was invited by the Archaeological Museum of Patras, in collaboration with the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, to contribute a series of colourful illustrations to an exhibition dedicated to Asterix.

He has held five solo exhibitions and participated in five group exhibitions in Patras. In recent years, he has devoted himself to further developing his watercolour technique, exploring a diverse range of subjects, including portraits and landscapes, often through a contemporary artistic perspective.
