Anette Duensing

Anette Duensing is a physician-scientist, whose art explores mixed media techniques that include watercolor, acrylics, mark making and handlettering. Abstract flowers and other botanicals are a constant theme in her work. Anette was born and trained in Germany but has lived and worked in the U.S. for over 20 years.

Anette is a member of Group A, the Calligraphy Guild Pittsburgh and the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council.

Anette is a self-taught artist that has furthered her technique by attending several watercolor and calligraphy/handlettering classes taught by international artists.
