Eisuke Ikeda

I create abstract works centered on the relationship between color and light. My practice focuses on drawing out moments of emotional shift from digital chance and rebuilding them as visual experiences.

Rather than relying on flashiness or excessive stimulation, I refine the balance of color, the pace of movement, and the density of the image to create compositions with a lingering afterglow. I also avoid over-polishing the surface, leaving slight distortions, subtle fluctuations, and variations in density to bring an analog tactility and room for chance into the digital realm.

My work is not meant to be reduced to a single clear interpretation; instead, it aims to speak directly to the viewer’s sensibility through visual intuition.
