My art is really an extension of how I experience life, movement, memory, spirituality, and emotion. I work across painting, drawing, performance, photography, poetry and dance because I don’t like limiting expression to one form. A lot of my work is abstract and expressive, inspired by Black and African Caribbean artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, David Hammons, Angu Walters, Che Lovelace and Afro-futurism art has had a profound influence on me.
