As an architect, I am interested in developing systematically structural patterns on one side and in a free abstraction on the other. The viever is challenged to find figurative spatial and natural aspects - by its own imagination. This corresponds to my manner to create configurations including surpirses by random, and by adding or subtracting areas in a permanent dialogue with the work in its intermediate state.
Important inspirations came from the painting art teacher Horrst Peter, in Marburg, pupil of E. Heckel and W. Baumeister, as well as by the paintress and politician Louisa Biland. Besides, exhibitions of Gerhard Richter inspired myself. During my studies of architecture in Darmstadt, I adopted the method of Guenter Behnisch to superimpose surfaces or patterns in parts, for free transitions and ambiguity in an "open architecture".
