Vicki Disney is a contemporary artist whose work explores the poetic dialogue between time, texture and transformation. Inspired by the elemental beauty of rust, weathered surfaces, and organic decay, her art celebrates the hidden stories within materials marked by nature's slow sculpting.
Through layered abstraction, dynamic mark-making, and rich earthy palettes, Vicki captures movement and transition. her works are deeply atmospheric - quiet yet emotionally resonant, meditative yet full of energy.
influenced by the philosophy of wabi-sabi and the beauty of impermanence, Vicki work asks the viewer to slow down and notice what is often overlooked: the textured skin of metal, the shadows between forms, the alchemy of oxidation. Her studio process is part experimentation, part collaboration -with time, weather and material decay all becoming co-creators.
Vicki Disney exhibits internationally and her work resides in private collections across the UK, Europe and North America.
she continues to explore the narratives and emotional landscapes found in silence, deterioration and light.
