My work is about process: the calm and peace I find in meditative repetition of simple shapes and patterns. It reflects interest in the relationship between simplicity and complexity in natural forms. Inspired by fluid shapes of the natural world across scales: from wider land/sea/skyscapes to small details, most of my works are black and white pen drawings made up of minimal dots or lines. These come to convey more complex forms, structure and movements through intricate patterns of repetition.
